We took our kids to the Draper Temple Open House today. Our tickets were in the afternoon so A.J. was not incredibly happy with the wait time at the church. When asked what their favorite parts were Em said "I liked the room with all the mirrors and the room where you get dressed before you get married, and the pictures of Jesus." I was proud of her - thinking that she had really understood the temple on her own level. When I asked A.J. he said "I liked the cookies, and the tiny water bottle, and the bus ride was cool!"
